Abhishek is a Co-founder at Whrrl and was a Product Owner for the service product at Policybazaar.com (an Indian unicorn insurance aggregator). A 3x Entrepreneur and a 2x Author, he has been in Blockchain for about 4.5 years.

At Whrrl, he’s building India’s first Agri-Fintech Blockchain platform that can save 25-40% of farmers’ income, and protect banks from millions in very regular frauds in the segment of Warehouse Receipt Finance. This integrated mega-platform is currently deployed in 1,400 warehouses across 5 states in India, has over US $500 Mn commodities tokenized on the blockchain, and over US $1 Mn digital loans dispatched to farmers and agri-businesses, with US $330 Mn committed by the partner banks to be routed via the platform. Whrrl has been incubated at IIM Ahmedabad, University of Toronto’s CDL, Chiratae Innovators’ Program, TheGAIN in collaboration with MeiTy, GUSEC et. al. Whrrl has constantly received recognition in Centralized and Decentralized Finance from the likes of FICCI, Indian Banks Association, Binance, ETHDenver etc.

for Climate Action | Episode 02

Prachi Shevgaonkar is a Climate Entrepreneur and the founder of Cool The Globe – An app for climate action with users from 100+ countries. Prachi is the first Indian citizen to be appointed on the advisory board of Climate Leadership Coalition, alongside the prime minister of Finland and European Union Leaders.
She has been named Green Crusader of the year by the International Advertising Association, and is the youngest recipient of the prestigious Taru Lalvani Award for Environment Protection by Rotary. Prachi spent months covering stories of youth, farmers, and waste-picker communities, to understand the impact of climate change in day to day lives of people.
She has been invited as an expert speaker at various platforms, including TedX forums and the prestigious WWF Modal Conference. Recently, she came on board as a Mentor for the ‘Women4Climate’ Program by government of Maharashtra and C40 Cities.

Harish Srinivasan a Learner more than anything else. That helped him to Design Learning Experience, Teach, Mentor Children over the past 7 Years. Co-Founder of an Education Startup called Infinite Engineers right from college final year. He has worked with around 500 schools and personally interacted with over 15000 children.
Transforming education had always been his core motivating element as he came from factory model of education system which was designed for Industrial Age. But in information age many of the existing practice is not even relevant. Children are now smart enough to ask Why should I learn this?
He is passionate facilitator of learning who loves to research, study curriculum frameworks and keep self updated about latest trends in education. This happens through interactions with stakeholders of education system at various levels.
